Spray Machine
The spray machine is also called an atomizer. The plastic bottle is filled with either astringent lotion or skin lotion. The use of the lotion depends on the skin type. Astringent for the oily skin and skin lotion for normal to dry skin. Using the appropriate lotion helps restore the skin’s acid mantle.
The spray can be used :
- After cleansing because spray can help remove traces of cleanser from the face
- After extraction to flush out the pores and soothe the skin
- After removing mask to restore the skin’s acid mantle.
The benefits of using spray machine :
- Spray stimulates nerve endings and activates cell metabolism.
- With longer periode of time, it is good for broken capillaries. The spray creates an excellent light massage that exercises and strengthens the capillary walls by causing them to expand and contract.
- Spray is necessary for dehydrated or mature skin.
Vacuum Suction Machine
The vacuum suction mechine is useful in deep pore cleansing of the skin. It is used to remove excess oil , grease and dirt from the skin.
Vacuum suction also has the benefit of massage. Vacuum massage will stimulate blood circulation which means better nourishment to the cell and faster toxin elimination from the cell. Vaccum massage can also draw moisture to the surface of the skin. It is beneficial to the skin that is wrinkled.
Vacuum suction can be used on all skin type except the area with couperose and rosacea. For better result on oily skin, it suggested that vacuum suction is performed after steming and disincrustation.
The strenght of the suction can be adjusted. The esthetician should test the suction on the esthetician’s inner arm to make sure that the strengt of the suction is suitable with the skin type treated. Stronger suction can be used on oily and thick skin. When the skin is thin and dry, a lighter suction is used.
Vacuum suction comes with different size of cups. The biger cup is used for larger area such as forehead, cheeks, neck and jaw. The smaller cup is used for eye and nose area. The bigger the cup size, the stronger the suction is.
